Been busy or distant
If you will
Sometimes that’s just what happens in this world.
Sometimes the best way forward is to simply let things be.
In the time that I sit alone
I start to realize the world is cold.
But I’ve been here long enough to believe I’m warm.
I think if you want to be peaceful.
Perhaps you must first believe in peace within yourself.
Yesterday the sun was shining bright.
The air was crisp
The wind almost made you gasp.

Cat chasing
You see?
This world can be peaceful.
I don’t have much to say
But all I will say
Take a deep breath
Then
and then, continue with the world.
